Since All Occasions Video Production was founded in 1997, we have enjoyed continual growth. We now have ten staff members, including dedicated camera operators and video editors. Throughout this time, the company has never lost sight of its initial goal, which was to provide cost-effective, high quality video productions in a range of fields.

Over the years, we have maintained our status as a pioneer in the wedding video industry in South Australia, consistently outclassing our competitors. Our corporate portfolio has grown to include private sector and government agencies, which continually turn to us to deliver on their video production deadlines. All Occasions Video Production is a multiple winner of the Australian Bridal Industry Awards and is also an accredited member of the Australian Video Producers Association in both Special Event and Corporate Video Production. Our staff has also won individual accolades at the highest level. We all take personal pride in delivering work of the finest quality.

John Slater – Company Director says: “My television career started in the black and white years as a Telecine Film Operator from the opening day of WIN Television. My chief interest was in production work and I soon found myself promoted to head camera operator, in charge of studio production. I then ventured overseas to Canada for seven years, where I gained much additional expertise as a studio camera operator with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC).

On returning to Australia, I took on the role as producer/director and then Promotions Manager at TVW7 in Perth. My ten years at TVW7 were the most rewarding of my television career. During that period, I won six International television industry awards. I later accepted a position as Promotions Manager with HSV7 Melbourne, which I held for ten years. My projects at HSV7 included the ‘Hello Melbourne’ campaign, numerous AFL promotions and involvement with the ‘Nobody Knows News Like Seven’ campaign. After thirty years in the television broadcast industry, I moved to South Australia with my family in 1997 and started my own video production business.

Since founding All Occasions Video Production, we have received Accreditation from the Australian Video Producers Association in Special Event Video Production and Corporate Video Production.
My extensive television background has been invaluable in all stages of video production. This alone gives us the edge over our competitors.
